UFC Fight Night - Kattar vs Chikadze: Picks and Predictions

Sup everyone, the UFC’s hiatus is over and we’re back with another fight night. Here are my three best locks for tonight’s card.

Brian Kelleher -310 vs Kevin Croom +245

Brian Kelleher is an absolute savage on the mat and can dominate anyone while wrestling. He’s quietly been racking up a nice win streak, mostly by maintaining top position and controlling his opponents. I’m taking Brian Kelleher ML in my parlay, but my favorite pick here is Brian Kelleher to win by points/decision at +200.

Dakota Bush +160 vs. Viacheslav Borshchev -190

I have a hard time betting against fighters from the eastern block. Borshchev AKA “Slava Claus” is highly talented and just worked his way up Dana White’s Contender Series. He has won 5 of his last 6, and used his heavy hands to finish his last 3 by KO. A guy with his talent and potential star power on the main card SCREAMS setup fight. The UFC wants the world to find out about this kid, and Dakota Bush is like a lamb to the slaughter. I’m taking Viacheslav Borshchev by KO/TKO at +105. Sliding him into my parlay too.

Calvin Kattar +195 vs Giga Chikadze -240

Before Giga emerged in the UFC, he was a kickboxer. While kickboxing, he became known for the Giga-kick. This is a kick landed directly to the liver which immediately puts most opponents down. He even put down Cub Swanson, well known tough guy, with that kick. I expect him to use it many times on Kattar, then surprise him with one to the head that drops him. Kattar is also very tough and had some of the most entertaining five rounds of 2021 with Max Holloway, however Kattar took the majority of the damage in that fight, and as we’ve seen the chin doesn’t always remain as strong after a battle like that. I’m taking Chikadze by KO/TKO at +125. I’ll also slide him in my parlay, and as an added bonus, if you’re feeling risky, I’ll give you my round + method bet. Giga Chikadze KO/TKO & Round 4 +1300.
