The 2022 Players Championship: Betting Picks and Predictions

Entering this weekend, my record is 4-1 picking tournament winners.

The Players Championship is considered to be the unofficial 5th Major of the year. The field is as loaded as ever, setting the stage for an exciting weekend of the gentleman’s game.

The Picks:

Justin Thomas: +1400

This is a course JT plays very well at. Adding this win to his resume would be huge for him to climb the FedEx Cup standings as well as for legacy.

Brooks Koepka: +3500

He hasn’t been playing well as of late, which you can partially attribute to nagging injuries. This weekend provides a chance for Brooks to regain his status on Tour and would significantly boost his confidence as the year progresses.

Jordan Spieth: +4000

Speith has been playing well during the first 2-3 days of tournaments recently but then explodes the last day or day-and-a-half. He’s a guy who is proven to show up on big stages and this play certainly has great value.

Tony Finau: +5500

Finau is my guy and he is destined for a huge win on Tour. He just needs to close out tournaments and not choke at the end. This is another great value play for a guy who is making a bigger name for himself.
