Ryley's Daily Basketball Pick: April 1st
The streaking Detroit Pistons will tip off against the Oklahoma City Thunder at 8 eastern time.
Detroit is 7-5 ATS on back to backs and has covered nine out of their last nine road games. The Pistons are 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings against the Thunder. Both teams have covered four of their last five and eight of their last ten.
Cade Cunningham has taken his game to the next level as of late. Cade has scored double digits in 20 straight games. In that span he has averaged 21.2 points, 6.3 assists, and 5.9 rebounds. Expect Cade to stay on his tear and take over this game as he’s proving to be in the rookie of the year conversation. Saddiq Bey has been the X Factor over this 10 game stretch, averaging 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 three pointers a game. When Bey is consistent behind the arc he brings another dimension to this Pistons team.
From the jump you will see the athletic mismatch Detroit will present over the Thunder. The Thunder are missing a total of nine players, this team is depleted and I don’t see how they can keep up with a streaking Pistons team. The Pistons are coming off a huge underdog victory versus the Sixers and I expect them to keep the momentum going. My pick Pistons (-5)
