NCAA Men's National Championship: Betting Picks and Predictions

Updated: Apr 8, 2022

The 2022 NCAA Men's National Championship game features looks of surprises. Kansas coach Bill Self has dominated the regular season, but has not had postseason success until now. UNC's first year head coach Hubert Davis led the team past Duke and Coach K in what was supposed to be a down year.

Kansas's Ochai Agbaji is the best player featured in this game, and his play in March Madness has made him one of the biggest risers on NBA draft boards. He is poised to have a big game tonight. While Remy Martin was quiet against Villanova, his quickness and peskiness on the defensive end will be important if Kansas hopes to slow down the red-hot RJ Davis of UNC. I am also expecting Jalen Wilson to have a solid showing in this game.

UNC's big question mark for tonight is the readiness of star center Armando Bacot. He sprained his ankle in the Final Four victory over Duke, but I am expecting him to play. The potential for this ankle to nag him tonight against the physical presence of David McCormack is concerning to say the least. If Bacot is hobbled in any way, Brady Manek needs to step up big time for the Tar Heels. Overall, I think Kansas has the edge so I will be adding Kansas ML to my parlay. This game is also poised to be high scoring so I will be taking the Over at 151.5

The Parlay:

Kansas ML

Brady Manek 16+ Points

Jalen Wilson 12+ Points

Ochai Agbaji 16+ Points

Odds: +575
